The "Zero New Oak" bottling is our most traditional wine in its use of all older French oak barrels. Yet, for the California wine market, it's a bit anti-establishment to produce a Pinot Noir that focuses only on the purity of our estate-grown fruit, without any oak to mask the expression of our site.
This wine was grown and crafted by our family, on our five-generation estate. It was fermented with wild yeast and wild ML with 20% whole clusters, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Full of beautiful cherry/berry fruit, this is an elegant wine that pairs with almost any cuisine.
