This limited-production bottling is crafted from just one block of our estate vineyard, planted to the Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. We love it just a touch riper and with more new oak than most of our other bottlings. It is beautifully balanced, and displays red fruit alongside a touch of earthiness.
All our estate-grown Pinot Noirs are fermented with wild yeast and wild malolactic cultures and are bottled unfined and unfiltered. This vintage we employed 20% whole cluster fermentation -- stems and all -- with hand punchdowns and basket pressing into barrel.
