The Charles Vineyard Pinot Noir is our flagship bottling, encompassing fruit hand-picked from all our estate Pinot Noir plantings.
Aged in 33% new French oak barrels, it balances beautiful red fruit with good acidity and structure for ageability. (This wine is incredible with some time in the cellar.) As with all our Pinot Noirs, this wine was fermented with wild yeast and wild ML strains and a portion of whole clusters, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Enjoy with almost anything, but especially mushrooms, grilled lamb or roast poultry. Also incredible with a nice charcuterie and cheese board.
The 2023 vintage was an excellent one for winemakers across the state. This Pinot Noir should be both beautifuly drinkable upon release, but also ageable for years to come.
