This is a three-pack of 2016 Clone 05 Pinot Noir futures. This wine will be bottled in August 2017 and released in April-May 2018 for shipping or pick up. This Clone 05 blend is always a tasting room favorite. Crafted from 100% estate-grown, Pommard clone of Pinot Noir, it was aged in 50% new French oak. It's richer and toastier than our other releases, but still balanced with good acidity.
The 2016 vintage was even, (happily) uneventful and excellent. For the first time in three years, we received our average rainfall that winter and spring -- the beginning of the end of the California drought.
