We used a poker term (all in) to describe this stellar wine -- a combination of all of the Pinot Noir clones grown in our estate vineyard.
The fruit for this wine was hand-harvested, 80% was destemmed with 30% whole clusters, and wild yeast and wild ML fermentations. Punch downs were done by hand and no racking was done while the wine was aged in 100% French oak.
Here at Foursight we're big believers of unfined and unfiltered Pinot Noirs, and that's exactly what we did with this wine:ᅵnothing. We think the strategy paid off -- we went all in and ended up with a winning hand, er, wine.
